Located at the foot of the Hawequa mountain, in walking distance of Wellington there is the Cape Dutch Oude Wellington Estate of 1795.

Decorated in Cape Dutch style with some modern underfloor heating and aircon under thatched roofs adds to the homely Estate. Oude Wellington offers a variety of accommodations all with private entrances and bathrooms. All 11 units, some self-catering have a refrigerator, microwave, smart TV and tea/coffee-making facilities.

Enjoy the swimming pool and free Wi-Fi. Some units offer barbecue/braai facilities. Activities on the farm include watching animals such as alpacas and horses and playing big outdoor chess and table tennis. You may also like to enjoy a stroll to the farm dam.

There is an á la carte restaurant on the same premises, under different ownership that serves international and local cuisine.

Oude Wellington Estate has its own wine cellar and brandy/grappa distillery.
